TULSA GARDEN CENTER
9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Compost Bin Sale
Seminar introduces you to the basics of composting and everything you need to know to get started. Put on by the experts of composting, they will discuss everything from worm composting to bin design. The seminar will include a demonstration on how build your very own compost bin. HARDESTY REGIONAL LIBRARY
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Green gardening and composting workshop at the Tulsa Hardesty Regional Library at 8316 e. 93rd st. in the Maple Room. Bring you seed packets to swap with other attendees. One lucky participant will receive a free compost bin from The M.e.t. Call 918.549.7550 for more details.

Saturday, March 30 

TCC NORTHEAST CAMPUS ECOFEST
Festival 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Speech 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. 
Michael Patton, The M.e.t. Executive Director, will present a 30-minute crash course on composting during TCC’s Ecofest. After the speech, it will be available on this site.
Throughout the day there will be many activities and speeches.

Saturday, May 4 

CHERRY STREET FARMERS MARKET
7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | Compost Bin Sale
If you missed last fall’s compost contest, do not fret. This May we will have the 2013 Compost Contest! Bring out your very own dirt to the M.e.t. and Tulsa Master Gardeners booth at the Cherry Street Farmers’ Market to be judged on look, feel and smell. Place it in an open container without your name on it and provide a card with your “recipe”. Our Tulsa compost experts will judge a first, second and third place. Best compost recipe will also receive an award. Submit entries between
7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Winners will be announced around 10:00 a.m.
